Yes. Psilocybin services are legal in Oregon under the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act (Measure 109), which created the nation’s first regulated framework for supervised psilocybin use. This means that every session offered through VAYU takes place in a setting that is fully compliant with state law.
All journeys are facilitated by licensed practitioners who have completed Oregon’s required psilocybin facilitator training and hold current state licensure. Sessions occur only in approved service centers that have met strict safety and regulatory standards.
Importantly, VAYU itself does not provide or distribute psilocybin. Instead, we find the best fit licensed facilitator and service center for you; both are authorized under Oregon law to guide these experiences. This ensures that your healing journey happens in a safe, professional, and legal environment that is best fit for you.
Our mission is to make psychedelic healing more accessible, transparent, and human, while always staying grounded in the highest standards of safety, ethics, and legality.
Cost
A guided psilocybin journey through VAYU typically ranges between $1,200 and $2,000. This cost covers the full process of preparation, the facilitated journey itself, integration support afterwards, and the service center fee (depending on facilitator).
It’s important to note that this fee does not include the psilocybin itself, which is set separately by the licensed center where your journey takes place. These fees vary, ask your facilitator!
We believe in transparency and want you to understand exactly what you are paying for. Your investment goes toward:
Licensed facilitation by professionals who have completed Oregon’s psilocybin training and certification. Preparation sessions to set intentions, answer questions, and create a safe container for your experience. Facilitated journey support in a regulated and approved service center. Integration sessions to help you reflect on your experience and carry its insights into your daily life. Service center room fee where your journey will take place (depending on facilitator).
We recognize that this is a significant financial commitment, and we are exploring ways to make services more accessible in the future, including partnerships and sliding-scale options.
Your journey is more than a single session. It’s a structured process designed to support you before, during, and after the experience.
Mental Health Challenges
Many people come to psilocybin therapy seeking relief from conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma. Research from leading universities and medical centers suggests that psilocybin, when combined with skilled facilitation and integration support, can reduce symptoms, help people feel more connected, and open the door to lasting change.
That said, psilocybin is not a cure-all and experiences vary from person to person. Some individuals find profound relief, while for others the process is more subtle or takes time to integrate. What we do know is that a safe, supportive setting and a strong therapeutic relationship greatly increase the chances of meaningful outcomes.
At VAYU, we approach each journey as an opportunity for healing and growth — not as a medical prescription. Licensed facilitators are trained to create a safe container where difficult emotions can surface and be worked through with compassion. After the journey, integration sessions help you apply insights to daily life and support long-term well-being.
If you are currently diagnosed with a mental health condition, we recommend that you speak with your healthcare provider before beginning this process. Psilocybin services in Oregon are designed to complement, not replace, professional medical or psychological care.

VAYU Facilitators
Facilitators are the heart of this work. In Oregon, every psilocybin facilitator must complete state-approved training, pass background checks, and hold an active license through the Oregon Health Authority. This ensures that your journey is guided by someone who meets the highest standards of safety, ethics, and professionalism.
At VAYU, we go a step further. We only partner with facilitators we know and trust — people who not only hold the proper credentials, but who embody compassion, presence, and integrity. Each facilitator is carefully vetted for their ability to hold space, navigate difficult emotional terrain, and support deep transformation with care and respect.
Our facilitators come from diverse backgrounds, but they share a commitment to helping others grow and heal. We highlight their unique strengths so you can find someone who resonates with your needs and values. It is important to note that all VAYU facilitators have adopted the The North Star Pledge: ethics to guide the psychedelic industry.
Above all, VAYU facilitators are companions on your journey. Their role is not to tell you what to experience, but to create a safe container where you can explore, discover, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
The hours and days following your psilocybin journey are often just as important as the session itself. Insights, emotions, and new perspectives can continue to unfold long after the immediate experience.
To support this process, VAYU facilitators provide integration sessions — intentional conversations that help you reflect, make meaning of your journey, and translate insights into lasting change. This might include exploring patterns that came up, identifying shifts in how you relate to yourself and others, or creating small, practical steps that align with your new perspective.
Integration is where transformation takes root. Without it, powerful experiences can fade into memory; with it, they become seeds for real growth. Our facilitators are trained to meet you with presence and care, helping you ground what you’ve experienced into your daily life.
We also encourage you to bring supportive practices — journaling, mindfulness, movement, time in nature, or therapy — into your integration process. Healing is not a single event, but a journey, and our role is to walk beside you as you carry the insights forward.
Psychedelics to Heal & Grow
Psychedelic therapy is a structured process where substances like psilocybin are used in a safe, intentional, and supportive setting to explore consciousness, release stored emotions, promote healing, and grow closer to your goals. Unlike recreational use, psychedelic therapy is not about escape or entertainment — it is about creating a carefully guided experience that can open new perspectives and help people reconnect.
In Oregon, psilocybin is available through licensed facilitators and service centers under Measure 109. Sessions are designed to be more than the medicine alone. They include preparation, where you clarify intentions and build trust with your facilitator; the journey itself, where you are supported throughout the psychedelic experience; and integration, where insights are grounded into daily life.
Research has shown that psychedelic therapy can help people facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and existential distress, but its benefits extend beyond diagnoses. Many find clarity, renewed purpose, and a deeper sense of connection. The heart of the work is not the substance itself, but the healing relationship, the supportive environment, and your willingness to engage with what arises.
At VAYU, we view psychedelic therapy as an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and allow the mind and body to move toward balance. With the right preparation and care, these experiences can be powerful catalysts for lasting growth.
Eligibility
In Oregon, psilocybin services are open to adults 21 years of age or older who wish to explore this work for personal, emotional, or spiritual growth; regardless of citizenship or where you live. You do not need a medical diagnosis or prescription to participate — psilocybin in Oregon is offered through a wellness framework, not a medical one.
Before beginning, every journeyer completes an intake and screening process to ensure that psilocybin is safe and appropriate for them. During this process, you’ll be asked about your intentions, your health history, and any current medications. This helps facilitators understand how best to support you and identify any potential contraindications.
Some conditions or medications — such as a personal or family history of psychosis, active manic episodes, or certain antidepressants — may make psilocybin services unsafe at this time. In these cases, your facilitator will discuss alternatives or ways to prepare for future readiness.
At VAYU, our priority is safety, transparency, and care. The intake process is not about gatekeeping — it’s about making sure your experience unfolds in a way that’s grounded, legal, and supportive of your well-being.
VAYU v.s. Retreat
While both VAYU and retreats can support deep personal healing, they differ in structure, intention, and legal framework.
VAYU is a digital platform that connects you with licensed psilocybin facilitators and service centers in Oregon, operating fully within the state’s legal framework under Measure 109. Every session happens in a regulated, professional setting — never underground or outside the law. The process is individualized, with one-on-one facilitation, careful preparation, and structured integration support afterward.
A retreat, by contrast, often takes place in other countries where psychedelics are decriminalized or unregulated. Retreats can be group-based, may not involve licensed facilitators, and vary widely in safety, oversight, and integration support. Some are wonderful, but they do not operate under Oregon’s legal psilocybin system and may not provide the same level of individualized care or accountability.
VAYU is not a retreat center and does not organize group experiences. Instead, it provides a clear, ethical, and legal path for those who want to explore psychedelic healing in the United States — with transparency, safety, and professional guidance at every step.
Mission
At VAYU, our mission is to make psychedelic-assisted healing and growth accessible, safe, and supported at every step of the journey.
We believe that psychedelic experiences hold extraordinary potential when held within the right container — one that honors both science and spirit, structure and freedom, awareness and compassion.
That’s why we created VAYU: To connect trained facilitators with people seeking healing and transformation. To provide tools, resources, and support systems so that facilitators can focus on their craft while clients feel cared for from start to finish. To uphold integrity, safety, and authenticity, ensuring that this field grows with responsibility and heart.
Ultimately, VAYU is a movement toward human flourishing. We exist to bridge facilitators and journeyers, to ground psychedelic work in awareness, and to help individuals and communities unlock their potential to live healthier, more purposeful lives.
Welcome to VAYU. Let's Connect, Heal, and Grow Together.
